About the seminar

Over the years, we have organized numerous events exploring various themes and innovations. This year, however, we're excited to return to the basics—the classic pillars of Hong Kong: Tourism and Trade. foundational have shaped These sectors Hong Kong's success and continue to influence its economic and cultural landscape.

We'll begin by focusing on the pillar of tourism, highlighting Hong Kong's transformation as a destination—from its traditional attractions to the latest innovations in the sector. Experts from the hospitality industry, including Cathay PacificRosewood Amsterdam and ITG Companies, will discuss developments that enhance Hong Kong's appeal as a tourist hotspot, emphasizing the importance of cultural experiences and sustainable tourism, and demonstrating how these trends enrich the visitor experience.

The second session will focus on trade, examining how Hong Kong maintains its leading position as a trade hub in Asia. Speakers, including D&D International, RVO and Pointed International Limited, will discuss Hong Kong's role as an international logistics center and its support for businesses expanding into broader Asian markets.

They'll share insights on bridging differences in business and market structures, as well as on fostering international collaborations that contribute to economic growth.

Our joint organizers, including the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office Brussels, InvestHK, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will lead the final interactive part of the seminar.

This seminar will provide a comprehensive view of the evolving role of trade and tourism in Hong Kong and their impact on the current global landscape. We are excited to welcome a diverse group of speakers. Their presentations promise to bring a wealth of expertise and innovative ideas, from insights in hospitality to logistics and international trade. Returning to these classic pillars provides a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the core elements that have driven Hong Kong's success and resilience.
