Jonathan Tho

Jonathan Tho is the Area Head for Northern Europe for Cathay Pacific, based in Amsterdam. He is responsible for leading Cathay's overall commercial, finance, operational, marketing, HR and PR teams across Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium. Since joining John Swire & Sons’ Management Programme in 2016, Jonathan has worked in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland in both commercial departments and regional management positions. Jonathan grew up in London and Brunei Darussalam and holds degrees from The London School of Economics and The University of Warwick. He has also completed executive education at Peking University and INSEAD.

Thomas Harlander

With over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Thomas Harlander brings a wealth of knowledge to Rosewood Amsterdam. Having previously served as Managing Director of Rosewood Bangkok, where he successfully led the hotel’s operations since its debut in 2019, Thomas has a deep understanding of Rosewood’s values and operations. His leadership at Rosewood Bangkok established the hotel as a premier destination in the region, known for its exceptional service and elevated guest experiences.

Before joining Rosewood, Thomas’s career spanned key roles within the Park Hyatt brand, where he held senior positions in general management and food and beverage operations across a number of global locations, including London, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and Seoul.

Stephanie Rudy

After graduating from the Hotelschool in The Hague, ranked among the top 10 hospitality management schools worldwide according to QS World University Rankings 2024, Stephanie brings her unique experiences to Rosewood Amsterdam. She is a hospitality expert specializing in commercial strategy development, revenue budgets, and management implementation for various high-end brands. With nearly six years of experience as Director of Sales & Marketing at the five-star Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, and running her own hospitality consultancy business, Stephanie has a strong focus on long-term strategy and implementation in the luxury hospitality sector.

Daphne Reitsma

Marius Koops

My name is Marius Koops, Business Development Coordinator China at the
Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
In this position I support Dutch businesses with their positioning on the Chinese
market. Together with the Dutch representative offices in China and my
colleagues in the Hague, I support Dutch companies with market information,
business partner scans, general advice and by focusing on strategic sectors.
Previously, I worked for the Innovation Attaché Network in Taiwan and for the
Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Hague.

Charles Drapers

Charles Drapers is a passionate Hong Kong based business owner and employer in Hong Kong and Belgium, specializing in development and distribution of bicycle accessories. As a holder of a master’s degree from the University of Groningen, he has a keen interest in corporate law, labour law and contract law. He is a native Dutch with 17 years working experience as an employer in Belgium and over 30 years’ hands-on experience in sourcing, supply & quality control management and shipping from/with the Chinese Mainland. To support visitors and the Dutch-speaking community in Hong Kong, he is a result-oriented free-lance interpreter and translator Dutch – English (simultaneous and consecutive) for the Hong Kong Judiciary and other departments of the Hong Kong SAR. He is married since 1998 and has two grown-up sons.
