Hans Nagtegaal joined the Port of Rotterdam in 2015 as Director Containers. He is commercial responsible for the carrier segment (deepsea, feeder, shortsea, cruise & RoRo), terminals, depots, intraport and inland connections. Next to this his team supports the shippers & forwarders segment to ensure an optimal and efficient supply chain flow through the port of Rotterdam.
Hans brings over 30 years of industry experience. His career started with Nedlloyd and P&O Nedlloyd, holding a wide variety of roles in Rotterdam, Hong Kong and Shanghai. In 2005 he joined Safmarine as Area Director. While in 2009 assuming the position of Director Global Infrastructure at NileDutch, the niche carrier to West Africa.
In his current position Hans is particularly focussed on working together with customers and stakeholders to achieve sustainable growth in the world-class port of Rotterdam.

Martijn de Vries (马睿德) holds an extensive experience in (cross border) eCommerce, covering retail, supply chain and (return)logistics. With a focus on leading and managing various (cross-functional) teams responsible for Sales, Business Development and Partnerships.

In recent years Martijn developed a strong expertise in Chinese eCommerce market.
Creating value by connecting ‘the right dots’ developing various new business models, propositions and partnerships.

In his current role at DHL Parcel, Martijn is responsible for the eCommerce division.

Kannon Qian has over 16 years’ experience in e-commerce logistics. After 3 years working in JD Logistics, he joined JD International Logistics in 2020. Previously, he took role of GM, business development of Eastern China region, relocated to Germany in Aug 2021, leading EU team right now.

After obtaining an MBA in Economics at the University of Groningen, Leo Brand started his career at the airline KLM, where he worked in different positions for eight years, both in The Netherlands and in Germany. After KLM, he became manager at the strategic consultancy firm A.T. Kearney. In 2000 he co-founded the digital consultancy firm Adcore Strategy, where he took the helm as managing director. Brand was the pioneer in commercializing Wifi in the early days and co-founded Megabeam in London which was sold to Swisscom in 2003 where he also was the CEO for almost twelve years. Nowadays he is Vopak’s CIO since 2014 and is involved in different start-ups. He is a Supervisory Board Member for Autobinck NV and Innovation Quarter, a global port accelerator platform.

Tom van Dillen has clocked more than twenty years of on the ground experience in China and owns and runs the transformation consultancy Greenkern with offices in Beijing, Berlin and Palo Alto.

Tom has been involved in many unique and groundbreaking projects in China, including the first collaboration between Chinese Education TV and the BBC, as well as the development of China's first-ever online innovation co-creation hub for the automotive industry. He has a keen understanding of innovation and transformation and and how these forces are shaping China's dynamic society.

Tom has spearheaded projects for the world’s leading multinational companies operating in China, including BOEING, VOLKSWAGEN, BAYER, SIEMENS and BMW, helping to them succeed in the world’s fastest moving major economy.

China's newfound position as one of the world's leaders in fast and far-reaching innovation has propelled Greenkern into becoming an advisory in the Healthcare, Logistics and Energy sectors outside China. It supports large international organisations in these sectors to learn and adopt from China's new lineage of innovative thinking.

This has led Greenkern to be one of the world's first consultancies to offer "Innovation Mindset as a Service".

Tom is also an avid photographer and has spent many years capturing the dramatic changes to Beijing and its surrounding areas. His work appeared in many well-known print and online publications.

On weekends, Tom, his wife and two children, escape the frenetic life of the city for the relative tranquility of their cottage, which sits at the foot of the Great Wall.

Wilbert Lek started his career at ING Bank, where he served aws Regional Director Retail and SME and Marketing Director SME/Business Banking. After moving to Beijing, he became Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce and General Manager ING/Private Banking. In 2014 he moved on to Thailand to become Director Board of Directors TMB Asset Management Company and New Business Development Manager and Head of Wealth segment at TMB Bank (ING Bank). Following his return to the Netherlands in late 2015, he became Head of Strategy and Change at MKB Nederland. Next he served as interim director NL International Business Development and as CEO of Cannock Chase. He joined Rotterdam partners in 2018 and became managing director in 2019.

Silas Chu is the Regional Director, Europe, Central Asia & Israel of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the organisation that promotes and develops the city's external trade.
Mr. Chu supervises the HKTDC’s 13 offices in Europe, Central Asia and Israel (Almaty, Barcelona, Budapest, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Milan, Moscow, Paris, Prague, Tel Aviv, Stockholm and Warsaw).
Mr. Chu joined HKTDC in 1997, and has extensive overseas market experience.
Prior to his current appointment he was the Director of Japan, overseeing the Tokyo and Osaka offices from 2017 to 2021. He headed the Taiwan office from 2012 to 2017, and worked in HKTDC’s Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou offices.
Born and raised in Hong Kong,
Mr. Chu graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s degree (first class) and a Master’s in Business Administration.

In his career be worked for banks, insurance companies, consultancy firms and also the Port of Rotterdam. In 2016, he founded AquaSmartXL. This company develops and produces aquatic drones that can survey port facilities above and below the water.
